Robinson Road Open Studios and Archive Exhibition

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Robinson Road open studios 2026!

Robinson Road is a mid-19th century former brush factory, converted by Acme into artist studios in 1981. Since then, more than 250 artists have worked in the building during their time with Acme. Today, Robinson Road is home to nearly 70 artists across almost 50 studios, alongside our friends at Auto Italia.

We were thrilled to welcome more than 540 visitors over the weekend as part of the inaugural Backyard Biennial organised by Whitechapel Gallery, celebrating the creativity of East London and the artists who make Robinson Road such a special place.

Thank you to all of the artists who generously opened their studios, everyone who visited, and everyone who helped make the weekend such a success.
