Bettina Disler is an artist working in film that engages with interpersonal relationships. She studied film at the New York Film Academy, video art and art history at the University of New South Wales Sydney and the Zurich University of the Arts. Previously Bettina worked as a theatre director.

Bettina has received several awards for her films, including Pink Apple Award, Videoex, Migros Culture Percentage, mediaArt Prize Valiart. Her exhibitions include: me and maybe you, Haus am Lützowplatz, Berlin; Bettina Disler, Kunstmuseum, Bern, 2012; Media Art Award: ‘wallow’, Valiant Bank, Bern, 2008; endlos’, Videotank Zürich, 2008; seduction & fright’, plattformelf, Zürich; ‘Gedankensprünge’, Gessnerallee Zürich, 2006. Bettina’s work is held in the permanent collection of The City of Zurich and the Museum of Art, Bern.

Aargauer Kuratorium, Switzerland

Aargauer Kuratorium has worked in partnership with Acme to develop and provide a London-based artists' residency since 1999. Based in Bow, E3, the residency enables a wide spectrum of practitioners connected with the Canton of Aargau, Switzerland, to undertake two six month long work/live residencies per year. Artist application and selection are conducted directly by Aargauer Kuratorium.
