Carl Palm

Iaspis
2015/16

Carl Palm’s practice spans a wide variety of media including drawing, sculpture, print, installation and curating. Carl builds polyhedral discourses, generated from objects of plural nature and their modes of presentation. As bodies of work they emphasise relations of resemblance and contrast inside the space of the exhibition, acknowledging the process of change and displacement that comprise the sculpture´s own memory.

Carl founded the publication Good Times & Nocturnal News (2012), a nomadic newsprint publication departing from the tradition of artist books, presenting voices of artists, writers, and curators in a consciously loose compilation. Recent exhibitions have been held at Space Collection, Liege (BE) Diesel Project Space, Liege (BE) Parallel, Mexico City (MX) Nosbaum Reding (LU), 427 Riga (LV), X Bienal de Nicaragua (NI), XII Baltic Triennial at CAC (LT), Yautepec Gallery (MX), S1, Portland (US), and Cultural Foundation of Tinos (GR).
