Landis & Gyr Stiftung Residency
Dominik Brun is a Swiss musician and composer based in Athens. Dominik produces and performs electronic sounds under the name Karatech. In 1999, he began collaborating with the underground party label Pharmakon, organising and performing at secret parties in Zürich and other Swiss cities. Since then, Dominik has composed and produced three albums: Der Tatendrang des Datenstrangs, XAOS, and ΔΕΟΣ — which also included a recording of the live project Lebenssequenzen.
Throughout his career, Dominik has both composed and performed with a variety of hardware and software, constantly interrogating the means by which electronic music is made.
