Associate Artist Residency

Kelly Fliedner is a curator and writer focused on fiction, art criticism and experimental music. As an editor of Semaphore and the postgraduate journal for University of Western Australia and the University of Melbourne, Fliender is a committee member of Perth’s chapter of PEN International.

Kelly’s work includes contributions to West Space as the programme curator, the Kochi-Muziris Biennale as a writer and editor, Tura New Music as a project curator and the Perth Festival Visual Art Writing Group. A series of radio plays for the Next Wave Festival and texts for The Bureau of Writing feature in Fliender’s ongoing podcast series  On the Beach that explores critical and creative discourses surrounding contemporary art.

Associate Artist Residency

Acme's Associate Artist Residency allows artists to apply directly to Acme for shorter-term (up to three months) residency opportunities. These residencies are selected directly by Acme and tailored to suit the development and networking needs of international artists, allowing them to engage in research, develop relationships and focus on their work in a supported environment.
