Landis & Gyr Stiftung Residency
Patricia Haemmerle is a Swiss printmaker and photographer. Patricia’s works experiment with the medium of photography itself, repeatedly pushing it to its technical limits. Colour is particularly important in her works, and she started working with colour filters in the laboratory early on in her practice, experiments that have most recently resulted in the on-going series Out of the Dark.
Patricia has undertaken residencies in Venice, Vienna and London, and has also worked and studied in New York. She has recently exhibited solo projects at Atelierausstellung Brotfabrik in Vienna (2015); Tart Gallery in Zürich (2015); and Elektrizitätswerk Jona-Rapperswil (2013).
