Aargauer Kuratorium Residency
2006

Denise Kobler is a Swiss artist based in Zürich. Denise works in two disciplines – drawing and photography – each providing her with a space to develop respective sets of concerns. Her drawings focus largely on society’s attitude to the female body, whilst the central theme of her photography lies in the contemporary treatment and representation of flora and fauna.

Denise has exhibited throughout Switzerland, including at LOKAL 14 Zürich (2017); Anton Meier Gallery, Geneva (2011); Museum Baerengasse, Zürich (2010); Foundation Hans-Trudel-Haus Gallery, Baden (2005); Kunstkommission Rathaus Stadt Aarau (2003); and Kunsthalle Winterthur (2002). Her work is represented in prominent public and private collections, such as the UBS Art Collection, Zürich; Bank Julius Bär, Zürich; Aargauer Kunsthaus, Aarau; and the City of Zürich.
