Karolina Halatek

Associate Artist Residency

Karolina Hałatek is an artist who creates site-specific installations, objects, photographs, and videos. The key medium of her works is light. Her installations have strong experiential and immersive characteristics that often result from collaborations with architects, precision mechanical engineers or quantum physicists such as Leonard Susskind and Roger Penrose.

Karolina has received fellowships from CEC Artslink in NYC, Akademie Schloss Solitude in Germany, A4 Art Museum in China. Her works have been exhibited globally across Europe, USA, Asia and the Middle East.

Associate Artist Residency

Acme's Associate Artist Residency allows artists to apply directly to Acme for shorter-term (up to three months) residency opportunities. These residencies are selected directly by Acme and tailored to suit the development and networking needs of international artists, allowing them to engage in research, develop relationships and focus on their work in a supported environment.

This residency has been supported by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Poland and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute in partnership with AIR Laboratory Ujazowski Castle.
