Marc Latzel is a photographer documenting architecture, landscapes, portraiture and art. As a commercial photographer his clients include Rolex, Swisscom, Economiesuisse, University of Zurich, UBS, Minotti, TGS Architects, Museum of Art Lucerne, and Tobler-Litscher Architects. He is a member of 13 Photo Agency, Zurich.
Marc’s work has received various photo awards including, the 2015 European Architecture Photography Award, Frankfurt; 2005 VGF Selection Swiss Photo Award and 2007 Public Award. In 2010, he was selected for the Prix Photo Forum Pasqu’Art and the World Press Association nominated his work for the 1997 Joop Swart Masterclass award. Marc is a lecturer at the Vocational Education Centre, Vevey, ETH Zurich, Swiss School of Journalism, Lucerne, and F+F Art School, Zurich.
Landis & Gyr Stiftung, Switzerland
The Landis & Gyr foundation awards studio scholarships to Swiss artists and cultural professionals in London, Budapest, Sofia and Zug. Its London-based residency partnership with Acme was established in 1987, and provides six month long work/live opportunities for ten Swiss artists per year. Artists are selected for the programme directly by Landis & Gyr Stiftung and must demonstrate a track record of achievement in their field. Over two hundred visual artists, curators, writers, musicians and composers have benefitted from the programme. Residencies are based in Stepney, E1 and are available to Swiss residents only
