Aargauer Kuratorium Residency

After graduating from Zurich University of the Arts with a master’s degree of fine arts, James Varghese played bass in several different pop, jazz and electronic bands. He then became interested in synthesizers and started producing music. He started Quiet Love Records in 2018, which has released records by Rosa Anschütz, Holm, Jan Wagner and Diskret. James is currently working on his first solo project.
Aargauer Kuratorium, Switzerland
Aargauer Kuratorium has worked in partnership with Acme to develop and provide a London-based artists' residency since 1999. Based in Bow, E3, the residency enables a wide spectrum of practitioners connected with the Canton of Aargau, Switzerland, to undertake two six month long work/live residencies per year. Artist application and selection are conducted directly by Aargauer Kuratorium.
