Daniel Cockburn is a Canadian moving-image artist based in Glasgow. His work deals with rhythm, language, and thought experiments, using humour and wordplay, and drawing on sources spanning video games, philosophy, power ballads, literature, and sci-fi/fantasy/horror. He is currently Research Fellow in Film Practice at Queen Mary University of London.

Hosted by Acme as part of our 50th anniversary year, the Mind the Gap Production Residency is intended to give space and time to produce new work to an artist whose practice is aligned to the 2023 Res Artis conference, Mind the Gap: Designing residencies for everyone.
