Cédric Eisenring is a visual artist from Basel. Through his work he explores the narrative potential of image-producing media such as printing, drawing, sculpture, and installation.
Cédric was awarded the Swiss Art Award in 2017 and is winner of the Aarau Manor Art Award 2018. His works have been featured in international solo and group exhibitions, most recently including in Schlupfkluft (with Thomas Sauter), Taylor Macklin, Zürich (2016). Cédric has been running the Bleach Books publishing house with Luca Beer and Carmen Tobler since 2013.
Aargauer Kuratorium, Switzerland
Aargauer Kuratorium has worked in partnership with Acme to develop and provide a London-based artists' residency since 1999. Based in Bow, E3, the residency enables a wide spectrum of practitioners connected with the Canton of Aargau, Switzerland, to undertake two six month long work/live residencies per year. Artist application and selection are conducted directly by Aargauer Kuratorium.
