2016/17
Bo Choy is a Hong Kong-born, London-based artist working across film, performance and sound. She often uses fiction as a device for her work.
Recent screenings, performances and exhibitions include Visions of Protest – part of Small Press Projects, Slade School of Art, 2019, The Act of Homemaking, 2018, Dada Post, Berlin, A/WA session at Auto-Italia, 2018, London and the 6th Thessaloniki Biennale, 2017/18, Thessaloniki.
Chelsea BA Studio Award
The Chelsea BA Award was a partnership between Acme and Chelsea College (University of the Arts, London), funded by Chelsea Arts Club Trust and Acme, between 2009-17. Aiming to provide a bridge between art school and professional practice, the award included a bursary, rent-free studio space and mentoring programme. Recipients of Acme’s Early Career Awards Programme work from shared studios in order to encourage an environment of peer support and critical dialogue.
