She held the Durham Cathedral Artist Residency in 2007 to 8. Her work can be found in The Anomie Review of Contemporary Painting (2018) and Picturing People, by Charlotte Mullins (2015).
"I know of no other award specifically for artists who have been working for a number of years, regardless of the weather. So I'm especially grateful to the late Jonathan Harvey and Acme for setting up an award which celebrates us. I’m delighted be the recipient in 2026 and looking forward to shining new light on my work over the year."

"The panel were particularly drawn to Eleanor's painting because of the richly interwoven themes from storytelling, folklore and psychoanalysis. We felt that she had a deep and long-standing commitment to her studio practice, and we saw a new determination to discuss this work with peers and curators so that it might be seen more widely. Congratulations to Eleanor and I look forward to working with her over the coming year."
