Tina Isabella Hild
Hessische Kulturstiftung Residency
2009/10
Tina Isabella Hild is an artist who works with sculpture and installations which evolve over long periods of time. During her residency, Tina developed a room scaled installation using cubic steel frames which quoted modernist forms to display a selection of two-dimensional images, sculptural objects and colored surfaces. Contrasting material and graphic qualities were used play with ambivalent forms that reflected the artist’s observation of social conditions.
Tina’s work has been exhibited at KIT – Kunst im Tunnel / Düsseldorf, Germany (2008) and the artist’s publication titled No Time for Paradise was published in 2010.
