Eleanor Moreton grew up in Berkshire and studied painting at Exeter College of Art and Chelsea College of Art. She studied Art History and Theory at the University of Central England.
She has had solo shows with Ceri Hand Gallery; Jack Hanley in New York; Maya Froderman (formerly Tayloe Piggott) Gallery, USA; Arusha Gallery, Edinburgh and London; Phoenix Exeter, and has been in many group shows at home and internationally. She was artist in residence at Durham Cathedral in 2007/2008. Her work can be found in The Anomie Review of Contemporary Painting (2018) and Picturing People, by Charlotte Mullins (2015).

Jonathan Harvey Tenant Award
As part of Acme’s commitment to provide transformational support for artists at all stages of their career, this award recognises Acme artist tenants who have made a long-term commitment to their arts practice. Named in honour of Acme’s Co-Founder Jonathan Harvey OBE, the award offers an artist fee of £5,000 and financial support towards the facilitation of the successful project up to a maximum of £7,000.
