Kirsten Haydon is a New Zealand-born, Melbourne based artist who specialises in enamelling processes for constructed jewellery. Kirsten was the first jeweller to take part in the Artists to Antarctica Programme (2004) which has provided enduring inspiration for her practice and informed the publication, Micromosaic: Antarctic Landscapes (2012) which explores this experience further through research of the continent’s history and the experience of past visitors through the notion of the souvenir.

Kirsten's work has been showcased internationally at Jewelers’ Werk Galerie, Washington, 2012; Objectspace, Auckland, 2012; The National, Christchurch, 2012; Gallery Funaki, Melbourne, 2011.
