Goldsmiths MFA Curating placement in The Acme Archive

Acme is excited to partner with Goldsmiths MFA Curating programme for our first student placement, welcoming Charlie Clark to The Acme Archive.

Based at Acme Propeller Factory from February to May, this placement offers Charlie the opportunity to conduct self-directed research and explore our archival materials. Her research will take the impact of the economic and social conditions surrounding artistic practice and infrastructure in the 70s compared to now as a starting point.

She is particularly interested in the development of the housing structures that Acme has provided to artists since its inception and how this is impacted by shifting governmental and council-led policies.
