Acme Propeller Factory Open Studios

Acme Propeller Factory is the largest remaining long-term artist studio building of its kind in London, and the UK’s biggest building dedicated solely to artist studios at a genuinely affordable rent. Housing a thriving artist community for the past 35 years, Acme’s lease on the building is ending and the London-based charity have until December 2025 to raise funds to buy it.

Welcoming more than 1000 visitors over the weekend, the event kicked off our fundraising campaign to save the building.

We’d also like to thank the 100 artists who opened their studios, Nicola Woodham for activating the building with a digital musical instrument, ‘Buffer’ and everyone that visited across the three days.
