COVID–19: Support for Artists

We have made funds available to support our artist tenants who are currently facing financial difficulties due to the Coronavirus (COVID–19) crisis. There are 3 potential routes available, which are described in more detail below

Rent payment breaks

We are offering rent payment breaks of up to three months for all Acme artist tenants experiencing financial difficulty caused by the COVID–19 crisis. These are to be repaid in instalments over a maximum period of two years (ie current rent + £100pcm). Final repayment deadline June 2022.

You may take up this option while waiting for government support payments and / or pending any other applications for financial support (including the COVID–19 Artist Rent Relief Fund).

Please contact Ben Lawley, Rent Accounts Manager for further details.

COVID–19 Artist Rent Relief Fund

Acme's COVID–19 Artist Rent Relief Fund is now open for applications.

This fund is intended for those suffering financial hardship due to the COVID–19 crisis, jeopardizing their ability to pay studio rent.

Successful applications will receive 50 per cent rent relief for a period of three months, which will not need to be repaid to Acme.

Acme Hardship Fund

Acme's long-established hardship fund helps pay the studio rent of Acme artists who face exceptional financial difficulties due to changes in circumstances such as serious illness or accidents unrelated to COVID–19 to themselves or family members. Maximum six months' rent or £1,500 offset against artist's rent account.

Please contact Heather Deedman, Head of Artist Liaison for further details.
